"Pale Blue Dot" is the title of a photograph taken by NASA's Voyager 1 spacecraft on 14 February 1990 as it left the Solar System. The Earth in this image is a small, pale blue dot.
What does the emotional world of a young person have in common with the Big Bang and what came after it? The period of youthful maximalism is equally full of extremely powerful energy and dramatic collapse. Similar to our galaxy, where the Higgs boson can destroy everything, but at the same time everything is made of it.
Young people are always being spoken to. By teachers at school, by parents at home, by other adults on the street, by school custodians, shop assistants – and most of the time someone is giving them a life lesson. Yet for all of us the emotional world is a bodily experience. Our legs shake with excitement, we blush with anger or shame, we sweat, clench our hands into fists and smile.
Without text, but with movement, music, set design and lighting, the production tries to empathically enter the world of teenage emotions, proving that every teenager and their feelings have a place in this world.
